How to Die Cut GO! 1¼” Square Shapes:
For best results, position your fabric on the lengthwise grain (straight of grain) as it passes under the roller.
- Cut 5″ strips across the width of fabric.
- Fanfold these strips into 5″ sections.
- Place fabric on the selected blade and cut.
Cut 72 squares across the width of fabric.
One yard of 40″ wide fabric yields 504 squares.

- With some fabrics, a thread or two may remain where blades meet – simply snip with scissors.
- Some dies have angled blades – align fabric to the shape edge, not the die board edge.
- Use quality fabric to reduce stretching.
- Always test cut one shape first to confirm fabric orientation before mass cutting.

* To conserve fabric, cover the only shape you want to cut - not the entire board. For asymmetrical shapes, place fabric pattern side up if you want the shape to look exactly like the shape on the die. Place fabric side down if you want the shape to be a mirror image of the shape on the die.
Care and Maintenance:
Use adhesive roller to clean lint and thread from dies. After each use, with the die pick provided with the cutter, remove any threads imbedded between blades and foam. It’s normal for threads to get caught where blades meet in a die. Remove with tweezers or die pick. Die blades never need to be sharpened.
