How to Die Cut 4-Colour Pinwheel Shape Set Blocks:
For best results, position your fabric along the lengthwise grain (straight of grain) as it passes under the roller. Tip: The die is specially designed to cut one complete 4-colour, 12" finished block in two passes through the cutter.
- Shape A: Cut a 7" strip across the width of fabric (WOF) and fan fold into 2¾" widths over shape.
- Shape B: Cut a 4" x 2¾" rectangle. Place right side up or down over shape.
- Shape C: Cut a 4½" strip across the WOF and fan fold into 4" widths over shape.
- Shape D: Cut a 5⅜" x 4" rectangle. Place right side up or down over shape.
- Shape E: Cut a 3½" x 4½" rectangle. Place right side up or down over shape.
- Shape F: Cut a 4½" x 3" rectangle. Place right side up or down over shape.
- Shape G: Cut a 4" strip across the WOF and fan fold into 4" widths over shape.
- Shape H: Cut a 2⅜" x 3¼" rectangle. Place right side up or down over shape.

- Some fabrics may leave a thread or two where the die blades meet — snip with scissors.
- Blades on some dies are angled; align fabric to the edge of the shape, not the die board.
- Use good-quality fabric to reduce stretching.
