How to Die Cut Koala Shapes:
For fusible appliqué, apply fusible web to the wrong side of the fabric following the manufacturer’s instructions before cutting. Place fabric right sides together on the die to cut pairs.
- Body: Cut and fuse one 6" x 3½" rectangle. Place on the selected blade and cut. Cut 11 bodies across the width of fabric. One yard of 40" wide fabric cuts 66 bodies.
- Leg: Cut and fuse one 2⅜" x 3½" rectangle. Place on the selected blade and cut. Cut 11 legs across the width of fabric. One yard of 40" wide fabric cuts 165 legs.
- Arm: Cut and fuse one 2½" x 2" rectangle. Place on the selected blade and cut. Cut 20 arms across the width of fabric. One yard of 40" wide fabric cuts 280 arms.
- Ear: Cut and fuse one 2¼" x 2⅛" rectangle. Place on the selected blade and cut. Cut 18 ears across the width of fabric. One yard of 40" wide fabric cuts 288 ears.
- Small Shapes: Use fabric scraps and place on the blade to cut.

- Some fabrics may leave a thread or two where die blades meet — snip with scissors.
- Blades on some dies are angled; align fabric to the edge of the shape, not the die board.
- Use good-quality fabric to reduce stretching.
- Test-cut one shape before cutting multiple pieces to ensure correct fabric orientation.
