How to Die Cut Hedgehog Shapes:
Apply fusible web to the wrong side of the fabric, following the manufacturer’s instructions, before cutting for fusible appliqué. Place fabric on the die with right sides together to cut pairs.
Back: Cut and fuse one 5″ x 4 1/2″ rectangle. Place on the selected blade and cut. Cut 8 backs across the width of fabric. One yard of 40″-wide fabric cuts 56 backs.
Body: Cut and fuse one 5″ x 3″ rectangle. Place on the selected blade and cut. Cut 13 bodies across the width of fabric. One yard of 40″-wide fabric cuts 91 bodies.
Ears: Place scraps on the blade and cut.
Eyes/Nose/Circles: Place scraps on the blade and cut.

With some fabrics, a thread or two may remain where the die blades meet. Snip threads with scissors.
Blades on some dies are positioned at an angle — align fabric with the edge of the shape, not the edge of the die board.
Use good-quality fabric to reduce stretching.
It’s always a good idea to test-cut one shape before cutting many to ensure fabric orientation is correct.
